Amrit Vichar: Skill Training to Boost Women's Employability

Amrit Vichar's Kanpur edition (23 February 2026) covered the successful conclusion of Kabir Foundation's 15-day sewing and cutting (skill development) training programme, conducted at the government high school in Dulara, Kulpahad, Mahoba — under our CSR partnership with Electrotherm India Ltd. At the closing ceremony, Chief Guest Dr. D.P. Singh and Premchand Anuragi spoke about how skill-development programmes are essential for boosting women's employability, confidence and financial independence. The article notes that 53 women and girls completed the programme and received hands-on training in tailoring, cutting and adaptability skills that prepare them for local livelihoods. Foundation patron Kalika Prasad Gupta thanked the community, and Government Inter College Jaitpur representatives Shamulchand Anuragi, Harishchandra and Moolchandra were part of the closing programme.
