Painting Workshop for Children from Kundarpura

Tue Sep 22 2026
Kabir Foundation, Khajuraho, organized a creative painting workshop for children from the Adivasi community of Kundarpura at the Foundation’s IT Centre at Seva Gram, Khajuraho. The workshop was designed to provide children with an opportunity to explore their creativity, develop artistic skills, and express their thoughts and imagination through colours and artwork. During the workshop, children were introduced to basic painting techniques, including the use of colours, brush handling, colour combinations, drawing concepts, and creative composition. With guidance from the facilitators, the children actively participated in practical painting activities and created their own artwork. The workshop provided a joyful and encouraging learning environment where children could learn beyond the classroom and develop confidence through creative expression. Such activities also help nurture observation, concentration, imagination, patience, and fine motor skills among young learners. Kabir Foundation regularly organizes creative and skill-development workshops for children from the Adivasi community of Kundarpura as part of its broader efforts to support holistic child development. Through art, education, technology, and other experiential learning activities, the Foundation aims to create opportunities for children to discover their interests and develop their abilities in a supportive environment. These regular workshops are an important part of the Foundation’s commitment to promoting creativity, learning, confidence, and positive development among children in rural and underserved communities.
